We encourage partners to utilize Siemon-produced product images wherever possible. A library of images is available through www.siemon.com, and you may also request specific images through Siemon marketing. If a suitable image cannot be provided by Siemon, partners should photograph Siemon products on a white background with soft lighting and to avoid hard shadows and highlights.
Application/installation images should be photographed with the featured Siemon solution in focus centered as much as possible.. These are commonly captured using strobe flashes to light the featured product, while knocking back other less important elements in the environments to the background/shadows. Low ambient lighting with a bright spotlight on the product, utilizing strobes and a shallow depth of field is the best way to highlight a product within a busy environment.
Stock photography should be chosen to represent a clean, sleek and modern aesthetic. Using real people instead of actors is always preferable – your own employees or customers featured with Siemon solutions is often the best route. Obviously pre-staged stock photography using models typically does not resonate as authentic with customers.
